About Us

Robert C. Behrens, President and CEO of National Lease Consulting, LLC, graduated from Colgate University and Long Island College of Medicine at an early age. After being certified as a Diplomat by the American Board of Surgery and a Diplomat of the American Board of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery, he practiced surgery, later limited to Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery for 40 years, along with an additional 4 years devoted to World War II and the Korean War. During that time he also developed an interest in commercial real estate.

Having built his first office building over fifty years ago, Mr. Behrens went on to lead the building of three more office buildings, the first air conditioned covered mall in Central California, two residential developments and assorted other endeavors. After retiring in 1993, in early 1994 he started the practice of Lease Auditing and has continued to date. He also holds an active Brokers Real Estate License in Arizona.

Operating Costs - Analysis

Alan R. Davidson, CCIM has over 27 years of commercial real estate experience in financial operations, leasing and development. Educated at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California - Management and California State University at Long Beach - Accounting, Mr. Davidson has held Real Estate Sales Licenses in California (1988) and Arizona (1992) and has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Arizona since 1995. He is a graduate of University Associates Graduate Internship Program in Organizational Development and has consulted with organizations such as the LAPD, Peterbilt Corporation and Hughes Aircraft.

Mr. Davidson began his real estate career as Controller for Del Amo Fashion Center in Torance, California a 3.5M square foot super regional mall, mixed-use project including two multi-story Class A office buildings where he was responsible for the day-to-day financial operations with annual revenues in excess of $50 million dollars, and pass through expenses in excess of $10M.

Alan has worked with national and regional brokerage, investment/development groups in Southern California and Arizona, including NAI, Lowe Development Corporation, Excel Realty Trust and the Triple Five Group of Companies. Most recently, he was Vice President Investments for a Phoenix based boutique asset/property management group representing clients in the acquisition and sale of investment properties.

Alan obtained his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 2008 in Newport Beach, California and currently serves on the Central Arizona CCIM Chapter Board of Directors.

Mr. Davidson is an active member of the community currently an Elder at Mountain View Presbyterian Church in Scottsdale, AZ and is a member of the Mountain View Sanctuary Choir having performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
